Virtually all of us spend at least 70% of our day in pursuit of money, whether directly or indirectly. This is true whether you are a lawyer, accountant, doctor, software develop, engineer, or whatever you prefer.
The trouble with this model is that most of us only know how to use our respective trades to earn money, yet we have been taught very little about money. I am here to teach you and guide you.
My Approach
- The first thing that I do is try to understand you. This is the most important step. Who are you? What are you about? What drives you? Where are you now? Where are you trying to get to? How quickly do you want to get there? What can you do to help you get there? What are your willing to do to make sure that you achieve your goals in the time that you are hoping to?
- As straightforward as this may sound, I have found that these elements are not always aligned, despite a persons’s best intentions.
- I then figure out what needs to be done to get you to your goal, taking into consideration your means as well as a reasonable expectation of how best we can try to help you achieve your financial goals.
- It is important to note that we always have to start with the basics. Should this not be in place, we need to create a plan to get it into place. We always need to start with the traditional, before we get to the more exotic avenues that can be used to pursue your financiall freedom.
